The Brief
Re-imagine the leading, globally televised NYE celebration. Developed in total secrecy, in the thick of the pandemic.
The Response
A unique, totally live broadcast, including celebrity VO’S, the largest drone fleet in the UK, and an emotional, poignant story of a tough year gone by.
My Role
Sole Creative Director working with the BBC and Mayor of London to write, curate and direct the 13 minute extravaganza.

YouTube views currently sit at 11m, the most viewed NYE show ever
A poignant, moving and special celebration.
Met with widespread praise and emotion, the 2021 show was a voice of hope. The recognition of great, successful human stories was a great comfort to all sat at home, unable to see the traditional show IRL due to COVID restrictions. We worked tirelessly to deliver the first cross city NYE Spectacular in years.
